The Society is an NGO (non Government Organization) dedicated to the promotion and the welfare of animals in T&T. The Branches are are governed by an Executive Council and there are currently three Branches operational, the largest being at our new premises in Mucurapo Lands, Port of Spain. We have a very vibrant shelter operating in Tobago and a small shelter operating in Marabella, (Gopaul Lands) that is in desperating need of upgrading.

We are NOT Government funded - we get no subventions from any branch of the Government.

We are an Associate member of the RSPCA and WSPA but they do not fund us. For specific projects however, we can draw on their experience and obtain useful information and/or guidelines to ensure we maintain an adequate standard of care for the animals entrusted to us.
