The TTSPCA (Trinidad & Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) - Northern Branch is an NGO (non Government Organization) dedicated to promoting animal welfare in T&T.
We are an Associate member of the RSPCA and WSPA but they do not fund us. For specific projects however, we can draw on their experience and obtain useful information and/or guidelines to ensure we maintain an adequate standard of care for the animals entrusted to us.
In recent years we have worked with HSI (Humane Society International) on SPOTT (Spaying Prevents Overpopulation in Trinidad and Tobago) a spay/neuter project, we also work alongside a local group AWN (Animal Welfare Network), on issues of cruelty investigations, education as well as joint spay/neuter programmes.
